What is RovingEye?
In 2005 RovingEye was created as a stock photo library by designer JoMiKo, and her photographer partner, Bob Barker.
As a photographer/designer partnership, we appreciate both the creative process in capturing images, as well as the practical application within design.
Together, we have compiled over 5,000 stunning images for you to download for free – and this library is growing rapidly, with new image collections being added each month.

Why do you give images away for free?
RovingEye was born out of the desire to create a stunning library of natural images focused primarily on the travel industry. Having worked in the media industry for much of our careers, we understand the need for quality, natural images that help tell a story or embellish creative projects.
We had so many beautiful images that were unseen and unloved, so we decided to give them away for free.
In return we simply ask for your support to develop our website and this free library by passing the word along to your friends and colleagues or liking us on social media, and by crediting or linking to RovingEye.com where possible.
Who owns the copyright to your images?
Our photographers own the copyright to their images hosted on the RovingEye.com website. The photographers have allowed for their images to be downloaded and used for personal and commercial purposes according to our Creative Commons license.
For further details please read our Content License Agreement.
What is a Creative Commons License?
Our Creative Commons license allows you to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon our images, even commercially, within the boundaries of copyright law.
We simply ask that you credit and link to RovingEye.com for the original creation ... wherever possible.
For further details please read our Content License Agreement.
